Editorial Reviews:
A negotiable golf swing is a compatible arrangement of the many permissible alternatives that, while not conforming to the computer models of the perfect golf swing, can still function very well to get the job done. By identifying and organizing these negotiable swing components, The Negotiable Golf Swing will show you how you can use basic swing components and their permissible permutations to negotiate a better game of golf.
In other words, you can learn how to play a better game of golf with a lot of what you're already bringing to the table. Few swings need a complete overhaul, a total retooling from setup to finish position. It's more likely that you, like thousands of erstwhile golfers, just need to learn what's negotiable with the golf swing and what's not. The Negotiable Golf Swing covers the nonnegotiable as well, that is, all those immutable laws of ball flight, which are determined as the clubhead moves through the impact area making contact with the ball.
The Negotiable Golf Swing will provide you with an understanding of how basic human skills are learned and how to apply them to your game, how to grasp and meld the negotiable with the nonnegotiable, which will help you build an effective golf swing, and ultimately, improve your game. This eye-opening tutorial will empower golfers from beginners to seasoned to single-digit handicap players.
Many swing gurus try to convince golfers that they must have perfect form - even a model swing - in order to play better. This is simply not true, and in The Negotiable Golf Swing you won't find any "one size fits all." Rather you will learn not only how a negotiable golf swing can work for you, but also why it's the best and fastest route to success.

Great and effective Aug 10, 2010
I have read alot and watched a lot of videos and this book really hit home. It is easy to read and centers on the basics of every part of your game. It has helped me very much with my driving, putting and chipping.
This guy knows the mechanics and can really effectively communicate.
The best book ever on this topic Jul 05, 2010
Laurentino's book is all fact, no opinion. He clearly shows everyone what has to happen when the club meets the ball, and outlines the many different choices, or negotiable 'fundamentals' of grip, stance, posture, etc. that influence ballflight. If only I had been able to read this book before I read all the others...at least 100...I would have been far ahead.
If there's one book to read on hitting golf balls, this is it.
Every Golfer Needs This Book! May 20, 2010
I have bought hundreds of books on Amazon and this is my first review!
I am an avid golfer and am always trying to get better and figure this game out.
Mr. Laurentino's book is unlike any other that I have read. He talks about things most golf
books do not talk about like hitting from a tight lie in the middle of the fairway to hitting it
from the first cut of rough. This may be a minor thing to most people but I find it very challenging
hitting a 70 yard wedge shot from a perfect, tight fairway lie - he covers this in depth which has been a
huge help for me. The other section that worked miracles for me was the bunker chapter - I can finally get out of a bunker but more importantly, understand it. If you are a golfer you need to get this book.

One of the better golf reads Apr 26, 2010
This is one of the better golf books I've read and I have read many. Instructions are easy to follow and it is geared to the majority of us, the medioum to high handicapper. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.
great help Apr 12, 2010
I never take the time to review anything, but this book has helped me immensely. I have golfed for 24 years and not one book has showed about the front arm on the chest at address or moving your back shoulder down on the downswing.
I wish I could have started with these tips. In a nutshell, this is the only book you need to get your swing corrected.
