Editorial Reviews:
Simply put, Callaway Golf engineers have re-invented tour golf ball performance. This isn't a small step forward. It's a giant leap forward. The new Tour ix Golf Ball is the most technologically advanced and longest tour ball you've ever played. The breakthrough in distance comes from innovative 4-piece inertia technology. A tungsten-infused outer core to shift weight away from the center of the ball, reducing driver spin for maximum distance and straighter shots. The soft core formulation provides tour level feel and the urethane cover generates excellent short-game spin. A refined HEX Aerodynamics pattern further increases distance through reduced drag and better stability. 4 pieces, 2 cores, 1 unbeatable ball.

Callaway Tour ix Golf Balls Jan 17, 2010
I have been using Pro V 1's and find this ball does everything that the the Pro V does. I am happy with the performance of the Callaway Tour.
great balls a fire Jan 09, 2010
I'm an 'ole duffer who is always looking for more yardage, well these are it. they also have drop & stop stickie on or something. wandered over to the darkside of the prov1x for a while, but, like Lorreta, back where Ix belong
Simply The Best Jul 17, 2009
I had been golfing on and off for about 3 years. I quit playing due to my music career and I have recently picked it back up. My game is not where it used to be, but with these golf balls my game is quickly gettting back on track. I've tried top-notch Nike, low quality Top Flite and the Callaway Tour ix are the longest, quickest balls I've used. They're also really great around the green. Whether you are driving, chipping or putting, the Tour ix's are the ball to use.
Top notch of the "Premium" balls. Jul 08, 2009
These balls are the best i've played so far. I've been playing golf for over 24 years and have used just about every ball out there for AT LEAST one round. I've seen fads come and go. I've seen new innovations succeed and fail but i MUST say that these Tour IX golf balls are one of the best balls i've played in all my years. I was playing ProV1 previous to these and the Callaways outperform them in every area. Love em.
Premium Ball from Callaway Performs Jul 01, 2009
These are by far the longest balls I've used. They are easily 20 yards longer than the Bridgestone B330s and the Titleist Pro V1. There is definitely something to the hex dimple pattern - if there wasn't why would other manufacturers use their technology (take a plastic bag and wrap it tightly around a Titleist Pro V1 and you'll see what I mean).
Durability is excellent, spin/bite are superb and the feel with wedges and the putter is great. Titleist balls may dominate the market, but Callaway balls dominate in performance. - MountainGolfer.com
